지난 7월 12일 AdLogger의 개발자 Trevor Fitzgerald는 AdLogger의 개발중단을 발표했습니다. 최근 애드센스의 코드 변화로 AdLogger가 부정확하게 동작했지만 더는 해결책을 찾을 수 없어 개발을 중단한다고 밝혔습니다. 애드센스 부정클릭에 대한 방어책으로 많이 사용하는 프로그램이기 때문에 더욱 안타깝습니다.
Trevor Fitzgerald는 AdLogger의 대안으로 ClickAider를 추천합니다. 방문자 통계 서비스로, 홈페이지 가입 후 트래킹 코드를 블로그에 삽입하는 방법으로 바로 이용할 수 있습니다. (설치형이 아닙니다.) 애드센스 전용 통계 프로그램이 아니므로 제공 정보는 AdLogger에 비해 부족합니다.
ClickAider를 AdLogger의 대안으로 추천을 하고 있지만 제가 사용하는 방문자 통계 프로그램인 TraceWatch보다 좋은 점이 있습니다. TraceWatch는 통계화면에서 한글주소를 제대로 보여주지 못하지만 ClickAider는 한글 주소와 타이틀을 완벽하게 지원합니다.

Unfortunately the development of AdLogger has been put to a halt. Due to some recent changes in the Google AdSense program, AdLogger has been rendered inaccurate and useless. Despite the best efforts to circumvent these changes and maintain a high level of accuracy, our developers could not come up with a solution.
Over the past year, the AdLogger project has experienced phenomenal growth. It has been very well received by website publishers who use it and by the coders who help develop it. I am very happy to have been a part of it.
AdLogger may come back in the near future as another tool to combat click fraud. In the world of e-commerce, click fraud has always been a problem and it is nice to know that AdLogger was a viable solution, no matter how long it lasted.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for an alternative to AdLogger, I recommend ClickAider. The guy who created it, Peter Zaitsev, knows what he’s doing when it comes to online stats programs. In 1999, he founded SpyLog, a successful Russian web analytics site. ClickAider tracks ad clicks much the same way as AdLogger, except in a hosted environment, meaning less work for you. Also, it should appeal to a much larger audience because it is not limited to AdSense alone. It is compatible with Google AdSense, Yahoo Publisher Network, AdBrite, AuctionAds, and a few more.
Once again, I apologize that AdLogger is no longer in service as I know many of you have come to rely on it. But I feel confident that Peter’s ClickAider can fill that void.
